Hello friends,
We are back this month with a fun theme over at Happy Little stampers mixed media challenge at this was fun for me personally because I was so looking forward to using the crazy birds stamp and die set that I bought recently. So as most of you must have guessed the theme this November is 'BIRDS'.
So when I first saw the theme I was super excited as I had recently bought my first bird stamp and that is the Crazy Birds set by Tim Holtz. I have been admiring this set eversince it first cam out as I love these birds and everytime I think birds, in my mind I think of my friends, strange right ?!! but true, maybe because its very much like us -crazy...
So this project came along quite fast and I completely went in without a plan, I found a small canvas in my stash that i had done a background on sometime back so I chose to work with the same colours as were already on the canvas. I was thinking what to do next when i saw a burlap ribbon on my desk and decided to use it and placed at an angle.
I used wooden words from my stash to add my title and a printed quote about friendship. Finally I decorated the edges using my punched flowers.
Hope this was as fun for you as it was for me making it. and I will see you on the blog.
Happy Diwali!!!
Hugs
