Using die for masking!!

Today I am sharing a card for the Anything goes with a die challenge over at Happy little stampersbut this card is a little different as in I have used dies but this is one layer card and also can be called as a CAS card, which is always tricky for me but I was very excited to tru this technique when I read it on a blog last month so here i hope it will inspire you ...

For those of you who would like to know how i used my die, here is what I did, first I cut out a mask using my coordinating die from a masking sheet then used the negative of the masking sheet to adhere to the card base and did some light ink blending.

Next I repeated this all through the card base and for the focal point i deepened the ink blending to make the colours pop. Next i used the coordinating stamp to stamp through the masking to get perfect placement. 

Finally I heat embossed a sentiment strip to the card base to create a ground for the flower.

This was super simple and great fun to do so I hope you like it and will be inspired to create something wonderful.
