Hello friends,
This week is awesome as everyone in the paper crafting world is celebrating The World Card Making Day. This is such a wonderful way to share the love for paper crafting and cardmaking and getting all the people of the community together....
Well I have been reading a number of Blogs lately and it has truly been a treat to see the creativity of people and get inspired. I have been planing to make a bunch of cards for my friends who have been very supportive of everything I do and saying thanks is just never enough so here i am on a spree to make some cards for my friends and for the festival season,

Well I have been reading a number of Blogs lately and it has truly been a treat to see the creativity of people and get inspired. I have been planing to make a bunch of cards for my friends who have been very supportive of everything I do and saying thanks is just never enough so here i am on a spree to make some cards for my friends and for the festival season,
I used tumbled glass and shabby shutters distress inks to create the back ground. Then used memento light blue ink to stamp the sentiment sending hugs and happy thoughts all over the background to create some interest.
then for the oval frame i used the spellbinders border dies to cut the border and then used it create a frame for the oval. Used the peacock feathers distress ink to deepen the colour of the frame.
Layered the oval die cut to add strength and used a sentiment from the Fiskars friendship set to stamp the sentiment with altenew evening gray dye ink.
To finish up the card used wink of stella clear shimmer pen on the border and added a few iridescent sequins in flower shape from my stash.
