hello friends!
Hope you are all having a wonderful week and this card will add a smile too.... Here is a cutesy birthday card ...
sharing my process with you... All supplies used will be mentioned below.
To start of i wanted to make a huge gift box with an elephant sitting on it and since i did not have a giftbox stamp, i went ahead and sketched my own with a pencil on a small piece of CS measuring 3"x4". once happy with the design i stamped my baby elephant on top of it, then was time to carefully outline the box with a black permanent marker (i. used FaberCastell fine tip marker). All areas falling behind the elephant were erased.
Next i cut a mask for the elephant and stamped the party hat. Nowa it was time to colour my images so i went ahead and coloured my image using some alcohol markers and water colour pencils. Also added a little skyblue colour on the panel to give a background and hest embossed the sentiment using silver glitter embossing powder.
I assembled the card by matting my central panel on a 31/4"x 41/4" piece of red CS.
Finally for the card base i used a warm grey CS and stamped some flower images in versamark ink to add a little texture and interest to the back ground. Once done i added my focal panel on top and finished off with a small bow, glossy accents and a stip of glitter washi tape to tie in the sentment.
Enjoy and keep creating!! until next time Ciao!!
