Rainbow birthday card

Hello crafters,

Hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend. Here is a card i made for the raibow challenge @ http://www.ablognamedhero.blogspot.in/2016/03/hello-march-and-avery-elle-birthday-love.html . The challenge was to make a card or project with atleast four colours of the rainbow and there was some wonderful inspiration cards there. my twist on it was to make a shaker card with sequins in colours of the rainbow, I hope it is allowed.

I started with making and cutting different size circles on a panel measuring 3x7 inches. After applying an acetate sheet 1/8th of an inch smaller than the front panel. then it was time to make some well for the sequins so i added some double sided foam tape making sure that each circle had a border around it (see picture) pretty messy right!!. Well maybe next time i might just add a fun foam panel with the same holes on the back. so once the tape was adhered i added sequins for five colours, one in each circle and added anotherr carstock panek to the back. our shaker is ready.

Now for the card base i used a 5x 7 inch folder card. To layer this base i chose a warm grey colour but the it was too plain so i decided to use a stamp and create a background texture with clear embossing...
