Hello Friends,
First Off I would like to thank Kylie for this opportunity and for believing in me, Its great to be back on the HLS team, I would also like to wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 and since I am making this post on my blog after almost 9 months I hope that this opportunity will also help me get back in the groove to post more often and I hope you all will be my partners in this journey that I begi today.
This month we are all about anything goes and tree; so I would like to share with you a project I made recently. I was an explosion box in a Christmas theme but when it came to making a central piece I was confused as to what to do so I came up with this tree that can also act as a decoration ornament around the house. Its almost too simplistic but hope you like it.
I used here a green glitter card stock. Draw a freehand Christmas tree shape and cut it out. Use this to make 2 more such cutouts.
Take another piece of brown cardstock 1inches by 6 inches and roll it. this will form the trunk of the tree.
Fold all the tree cut-outs through the centre lengthwise. Glue the cut-outs with their non-glitter sides facing each other..and on one end glue the brown stem piece too this will help the tree stand on its own...
Now for decorating the tree, you can use anything here I have used some small cutouts and gemstones. I also made a string of lights using gemstones and some small gift boxes to complete the scene.
Hope this simple project inspired you to create and I look forward to seeing your designs All the best!!
Hugs Seemaa
