Batch making CAS Diwali cards
Hello Friends,
Diwali is round the corner and while we are all starting deep cleaning routines for our homes and preparing to spend time with our family and loved ones, there are people who are away from their family to guard our country. Soldiers of the armed forces are not only away from families but some of them are away in such remote areas of the country that are difficult to access. Their lives are at risk from the other side of the borders and they are also braving difficult living conditions and extreme weather. Being a soldier's daughter I am well aware of their and their family's emotions so when I learnt that the facebook group "Cards for a cause -India " is planning to send diwali cards to soldiers, I found this a great way to send some cheer their way and also thank them, so here are the diwali cards I made.

DIY Rubber Stamps
Hello friends,
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. How many of you papercrafters feeI this is a very expensive hobby to have as all the stuff we use is so pricey?
If you are like me; all about crafting on a budget, I have a series on my youtube channel where we try to make our own craft supplies to use on our projects that will help us save some money and still enjoy our creative journey and satisfy our creative souls. I have some videos already up and this particular one is an extension of the previous one that I made on DIY Stamps -5 ways, this one basically focuses on rubber stamps.
This is a great DIY for all those who want to have matching stamps for all the dies you have or atleast some of them.

Messy Thanks!!
Hello Friends,
It is time for another challenge at Happy Little Stampers Challenge blog and this month the theme is MESSY, and when I thought about what to make it totally messed my head as I had various ideas popping in my head and it became difficult to decide what to do and I did start a few projects and experimented with different products however nothing turned out half as decent as it seemed to be in my head and I was running out of time to play more with some ideas so decided to go back to a trusted technique and product that i knew would not be easy to mess up.

Back again today to share a super simple project with you all but before that I just want to ask all of you - Have you had days where you started off with an idea to do a project, then after you start you kept changing your mind about the things you wanted to do so final project turned out to be very different than what you started out with? I am asking this because this is what happened here too...I am still not sure how I feel about this one. Do let me know if you have had a similar day...

Spirit of You!!- Super easy canvas
Hello Friends,
I am back again for the inspiration post for this months mixed media challenge at Happy Little Stampers. This month's theme is newspaper and though it is one of the simplest thing to recycle around the house I had a really difficult time trying to decide what I wanted to do this time. I finally decided to experiment with something I have had in mind for quite some time but never got to try it. So here it is.

Treasure the moment
Hello friends,
Its June and its time for a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge and the theme is Layers. I would like to share my piece with all of you and hope that it captures the theme
If you are a parent you would definitely relate to the fact that our children grow up too fast and in no time they want to venture out into the world on their own and so it becomes really important that we treasure every moment with them....this thought was the inspiration behind this piece.

You are always on my mind.
Hello Friends,
Welcome!
As in my earlier post this one too came out of the stash of coloured fussy cut outs I found cleaning my drawer. Love the picture if I say so myself, super cute:-). This was all assembled using pieces left over from previous projects as I am trying to get myself more organised, at least trying to.

Hello All,
Welcome!
I am in the habit of stamping a bunch of images at once and then sitting colouring them as and when i find time. Then I fussy cut them out and keep them for future use. Seems like a good idea but when you are someone who is very forgetful I keep building the stash of cut outs and misplacing them!! so much for organisation!! Well I stumbled upon this set of cute cut outs from stamps that were borrowed from a friend; while cleaning up a drawer.

Say it with a Card!!!
Hello Friends,
My son and I thought that it would be great to give his teacher a thank you card for all the help she has been to him throughout the year in his new school. As my son just loves cranking my Big shot he was the one to do all the die-cutting. This project became special for me as we worked on this together and also he enjoyed it so much. I hope you all like it as much as the fun we had making it.

Travel Diary
Hello friends,
Welcome.
Time flew by so fast that I never realise that spring is here and so is my son's summer vacation. This time I want him to make a journal for all the places he visits and the experience he has so that as he grows up he will have a memory of all his travels. To this effect I decided to make his little travel diary and that also happens to be the theme of this month's mixed media challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. so here it is ....

Friendship-A beautiful bond of hearts
Hello Friends!!

Memories is treasure!!
Hello friends,
February is the month when we celebrate LOVE formally however this is an emotion that should be celebrated throughout our lives and not just a month in a year. This month over at Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge the theme is Butterfly and everytime I think of fluttering butterflies it reminds me of a day I spent in the Hanging Gardens in Mumbai and this project is a representation of that day spent between butterflies and flowers.

Just for you - One layered card
Hello Friends,
Its true that time flies the celebrations for the new year have just ended and preparations for the Valentines is already underway and here is my first Valentines day card this year. It is a very simple one layered card that reflects the colours of the rainbow and personally for me it represents the joy and beauty a rainbow brings to our hearts.
