Hello Friends,
This month has been super busy and so very little time left for creating but I hope you are all busy gearing up for the festive season ahead. Today I am here to share very simple one layered card with layers of stamping. Hope you enjoy this one.
This card was a result of me having some fun trying out new additions to my stash. I had a piece of card stock measuring 8.5"x3.5" left from a project I had been working on. Folded the piece in half to make a 4.24"x 3.5"card.
Started by stamping the base of the flower from the Fancy florals stamp set by Mudra Stamps with soft pool dye ink from Hero Arts. Stamped both the big and the small flower base. Next was the stamping of the pollens using Ranger dye ink - Caribbean coast. Then came the stems and leaves that was stamped in Green Hills -Hero Arts Shadow ink.
I love the sentiment stamp from Peeak-a-boo designs- Be Good, which was stamped using Versafine Onyx black ink; in the center of the card.
At this stage i was happy with the card but some thing was missing and I realizedd that the base was too plain and needed some interest, so i decided to use a Finnabair mixed media script stamp in the Evening grey dye ink from Altenew to stamp the whole card base with this stamp and that was when i really thought that the card was finished. I did think of adding some enamel dots or pearls but finally did not.
Hope you liked this.
