Hi everyone,
We are celebrating new year here in Maharashtra today so wish you all a very Happy new year and also a happy weekend. I have here a set of four cards that use the same stamps. This is also the challenge for this month on Peek-a boo designs blog. To find the details for same please click: http://peek-a-boodesigns.blogspot.in/2016/04/challenge-5-use-atleast-one-same-stamp.html . I would like to enter this set for the challenge and hope that it meets the criteria and qualifies.
The stamps that i used in common on all the cards are : Studio G clear stamp "You did awesome. Congrats" and also a roller stamp from Gliz (I got it at itsybitsy. : http://www.itsybitsy.in/store/stamping/roller-stamps-gliz)
Starting from left i would like to share how i made these cards in brief.
Also the list of supplies will be at the end. Hope you enjoy, thanx for stopping by and your constructive comments will be highly appreciated.
I started with the using the roller stamp in different colours as if coming into the corner from all sides and blooming into flowers. in the corner. I was using a white CS so i distressed the edges with Antique Linen to give it some colour. embellished the corner with hand rolled flowers and punched leaves. I white heat embossed a piece of vellum with the sentiment and added it to the front and added this to a black card base along with some wink of stella clear glitter to finish off the card.
This second took me the longest time as i heat embossed each time i rolled the the stamp on the blue CS, so once that was done i punched 4 vellum circles and coloured in pink, yellow orange and brown leaving only 1 uncloured i arranged them in an overlapping pattern towards the side of the card. Finally a heat embossed sentiment black strip went on top to finish it off. then mounted this whole panel on black card base. Here i would like to add that this card directly inspired by the mood board challenge picture over at Lulupu blog : http://lulupu.blogspot.in/2016/04/challenge-60-inspired-by-moodboard.html so i would like to enter this particular card for the Lulupu challenge #60 too.
This was very simple as i made 2 strips, 1 stamped with pink and yellow and other with green. I heat embossed the sentiment and embellished with the green strip popped up with foam tape.
Card 4
With this card i wanted to create a scene so i used blue and green pieces for the back ground. stamped on the green with dark green ink to give texture. Added a stamped and cut out house piece on one side and the heat embossed little strips with roller stamp image to create the fence. Heat embossed part of the sentiment on black CS and fussy cut it. Added a yellow strip with hand written sentiment.
